Title: Crop Responses to Multiple Components of Climate Change

Plants respond differently to multiple environmental factors than they do to a single factor. Dr. Qaderi will discuss the single and interactive effects on plants of three components of climate change − carbon dioxide, temperature and drought. A comprehensive study of these factors will lead to a better understanding of how crops react to rapid climate change – research that is essential to safeguard our future food production.
