Public Lecture by Dr. Arthur B. McDonald, Co-recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics – 14 March 2016

Dalhousie University and the Nova Scotian Institute of Science is pleased to invite you to the public lecture presented by the 2015 co-recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics, Dr. Arthur B. McDonald.

Dr. McDonald, a Dalhousie alumnus twice over, will return to his alma mater and home province to share his ground breaking work in a public lecture for the Halifax community: How to Know a Neutrino from a Hole in the Ground.

The lecture will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 7:00 p. m. in the Ondaatje Hall, Dalhousie University, Marion McCain Arts & Social Sciences Building, 6135 University Avenue, Halifax, N.S. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Reception to follow.

Please note that capacity is limited in the Ondaatje Hall. There will be a live stream of Dr. McDonald’s lecture next door in the Scotiabank Auditorium in the Marion McCain Arts & Social Sciences Building. Seats in both venues will be given on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 6:45 p. m.
